GENUINE or FAKE

Are your Ugg Boots Genuine or Fake?

The most obvious to look out for is the price if the price is much cheaper than other Ugg’s you have looked at then they are most probably fake. You can also tell by the sole of the classic tall Ugg boot. If the Ugg boot is a fake it will not have the Ugg logo on the sole of the Ugg Classic Tall Boot however if it was genuine it would had that small detail on the sole.

Classic Ugg’s are made in China, so for any reason if the Ugg label suggested they are made in Australia then you know immediately that they are fakes.

They stopped making the Ugg Boot in Australia and New Zealand two years ago.
You can also tell if an Ugg Classic Tall Boot is genuine by how thick the sole of the Ugg boot is. It should be about half an inch thick if not then you as the buyer will know that they are possibly fake.

Looking at the Ugg labels on the back of the Ugg Boot, can always tell you if they are genuine or not. If the Australia under the UGG is too bold or looks of our place with the other wording, then you know it is not genuine.
By looking at the Ugg sheepskin fur inside of the iconic Ugg boot is another way of seeing if the Ugg boot is fake or not. If the fur looks natural looking then it is genuine however if the Ugg boot’s fur looks more of a synthetic fur then it is indefinitely fake.

All Ugg boot’s come up large so if sellers are advertising that they come up smaller or are around the same size as you are then you will know immediately that they are not genuine.
The box for a Genuine Ugg Boot is in one piece with a flip open lid attached. It is a strong robust box, also UGG Australia is written in the middle of the box.

There are four common mistakes in fake Ugg boots that you should look out for before buying an Ugg Boot.

First thing to look out for is that, fake Uggs do not run a size larger as the real Uggs do.

Second mistake is that fake Uggs are smaller with a wider ankle than Genuine Uggs.

Finally fake Uggs are taller than real Uggs.

The heel of a fake Uggs is much narrower than an authentic Ugg Australia Boot.

Ugg boots manufactures no longer attach a ‘care booklet’ in white with the boots, instead they attach a cream coloured card with white beige writing in to the Ugg boots packaging.

In the UK there are two main types of fake.
1.  They have blue label pinned on to the Ugg boot with a dust bag which says ‘snow boots’.
2. Or they will have a light brown tag pinned on which will say ‘made by CGM Co Ltd’. They seem to look like they have the same sole as a genuine Ugg and they also say made in china however they are indeed fake.
