Zandra Rhodes was introduced to the world of fashion by her mother, a fitter from a Paris Fashion house. 

Her mother encouraged and supported Zandra Rhodes during her studies at the Royal College of Art in London where she majored in printed textile design. As you can imagine Zandra Rhodes early textile fashion designs were outrageously unique by the standards of traditional British Designers and manufacturers.

One of the new wave of designers in Britiain, she was a huge influence in putting London at the forefront of the fashion scene worldwide. Her designs were and still are sought after, Rhodes designed for Diana, Princess of Wales and continues to design for Royalty and celebs alike.

 Zandra Rhodes is the founder of the Fashion and Textile Museum in London which opened in May 2003 by Princess Michael of Kent.
